As I entered the restaurant the aroma of the food was very tantalizing and I noticed the extreme cleanliness of the place. We ordered seafood pancakes, homemade fresh kimchi, and Jung Bong, the spicy noodle seafood soup. The food had outstanding flavors and quality ingredients. I highly recommend you to dine there. If I could I would give 10 stars.
We are in town visiting. We had the Jung Bong spicy soup. Amazing. We will be back for sure! Plus some of the best kimchi we have had. Very friendly staff as well.
Food and service was great! I had the garlic chicken (it is kind of like orange or sweet n sour chicken) breaded white meat chicken with a yummy sauce. I asked for spicy and they brought me a jar of spicy sauce, like hot chili oil to add. It was delicious! It is served with the broccoli and rice. My friend got the bulgogi beef with the onions. She thought it was good. We ordered the noodle bread- tastes alot like fry bread. We took some home so we could eat it with butter and honey. The spring rolls were a little mushy inside, but were good- they were served with some type of jelly looking dip, tasted sweet. I mixed the hot chili oil with the orange dip/jelly stuff- it was very tasty. I definitely recommend this place!
My husband had wanted to try this restaurant for two years! I regret that I took us so long to find this treasure! Everything is made fresh from the spring rolls to the broth. It is seasoned with fresh herbs and spices! It will warm you from the inside out!
The food was amazing one of the best Pho I ever had. Owner and hosts were very friendly and good at making you feel comfortable. Gave me one of the best experiences. Highly recommend. Best place to eat in that area. 9/28/23
I absolutely love this noodle shop and can’t appreciate enough of the amazing food and the warmest service I received from this restaurant in a tiny small coastal Oregon town. First the food is legit. High-quality and good flavors. Jung Bong is a must have and the seafood pancake. It’s one of the best seafood pancake I have had! Owner is super heartwarming. Did her best to accommodate me, and offered me to try their freshly made kimchi and some other preserved vegetables. Oh BOY did they taste good! Knowing that I’ll still be driving down the coast south on my summer roadtrip, the owner packed me more kimchi, and rice and her freshly-made yams. The owner told me about the history of this shop and the story behind her motivation in coming here to PNW to open an eastern Asian noodle shop. She ll also give you many travel advice on the local attractions.
I for sure will come back one day 😉
This is a hidden gem in Newport. They have a great variety of dishes including several vegetarian options. We had the veggie spring rolls and Mongolian stir-fry with tofu and it was all fantastic. The servers were all very friendly and attentive. There is a free public parking lot just across the street from Noodle Cafe and the neighboring restaurant La Roca (which I also recommend). I will definitely be back!
We were traveling and found this noodle cafe online. Really enjoyed the delicious meals we ordered and a great chat with the owner lady. I ordered the house special lo mein and was a bit concerned if it would be oily. However, happy to find out that it was not oily at all. In addition, all the ingredients seemed very fresh and tasty. The owner lady told us that they use fresh vegetables, and they sometimes bought them from the farmers market. Lots of local people came here and were returning customers. PS, the bathroom is clean and the atmosphere of the restaurant is good 👍
